Journalists are exempt from paying the fees for making news and media broadcasts about the activities of the Museum.
Shooting or taking pictures for a commercial or documentary purpose of the goods that belong to the national mobile patrimony in the public custody of the state can be done only with the written agreement of the titular of the administration right (namely, the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant), based on a contract and in compliance with the provisions of the Law no. 8/1996 regarding the copyright and the related rights, with the subsequent modifications and adjunctions.

VISITORS ENTITLED TO RECEIVE GRATUITY:
– for official delegations and other delegations of a cultural nature, within the Museum opening hours;
– for employees of the museum network, of the Ministry of Culture, and of the decentralized services of the Ministry of Culture, as well as for ICOM and ICOMOS members;
– for former political prisoners (of the dictatorship since March 6, 1945), 1989 revolutionaries, war veterans;
– for tour guides accredited under the terms of H.G. No 305/2001;
– for pre-school and primary school children;
– for children up to the age of 18 who have special needs or disabilities and for those to whom social protection measures apply;
– for children up to the age of 18 during vacation periods;
– for pupils and students of Romanian ethnic origin from outside the country’s borders, on scholarships from the Romanian state;
– for holders of “Euro 26” cards, up to the age of 30, access is free of charge for every 26th of each month, when it does not fall on a day when the institution is closed to the public; on the next working day of the month, if the 26th falls on a day when the institution is closed to the public
– for adults with severe or marked disability, pupils of special schools, persons attending handicapped children up to the age of 18, or accompanying adults with severe or marked disability;
– for pensioners, on October 1;
– for other categories determined by the chief authorizing officer.
