Wednesday – Sunday: 10.00 – 18.00

Monday and Tuesday: closed.

 

The Gift Shop is open to the public from Tuesday to Sunday, between 10.00 and 18.00. Monday is closed.

ENTRANCE TICKETS

Permanent exhibition (currently closed)
Adults – 12 lei
Retiring – 6 lei
Students younger than 30 who possess the Euro 26 card and adults with a medium or light handicap are entitled to receive 75% discounted visiting tickets – 3 lei.

Guided tour – groups of less than 10 visitors  – 100 lei/group
– groups of more than 10 visitors – 150 lei/group

The last guided tour is at 17:00 hours, from Wednesday to Sunday, and it takes two hours.

For making news and media broadcasts about the activities of the Museum, journalists are exempt from paying the fees.

Shooting or taking pictures for a commercial or documentary purpose of the goods that belong to the national mobile patrimony in the public custody of the state can be done only with the written agreement of the titular of the administration right (namely, the National Museum of the Romanian Peasant), based on a contract and in compliance with the provisions of the Law no. 8/1996 regarding the copyright and the related rights, with the subsequent modifications and adjunctions.

Temporary fairs and exhibitions

Groups of adults and children up to 5 people – 27 lei/group.

VISITORS ENTITLED TO RECEIVE GRATUITY:
  • official authority, as well as other delegations with a cultural character, within the opening hours of the museum;
  • the employees of the museal network, of the Ministry of Culture and the deconcentrated services of the Ministry of Culture, as well as ICOM and ICOMOS members;
  • pre-school children;
  • children younger than 18, with special needs or handicaps, and those who benefit from social protection measures;
  • children younger than 18, on vacation;
  • native Romanian students of all levels who live abroad and receive scholarships from the Romanian state;
  • owners of the Euro 26 card, younger than 30, are entitled to free access as follows: on the 26th of each month, when this does not fall on a day when the exhibition is closed for the public; on the following working day of the month if the 26th falls on a day when the museum is closed for the public;
  • severely or seriously disabled adults, students from special schools, attendants of disabled children younger than 18, or attendants of severely or seriously disabled adults;
